“I had an absolutely fantastic time, and I really want to commend you and all the other Acuity Brands folks who worked so hard to put the whole festival on.  It was a first class operation from start to finish.  I’ve been to a number of industry sponsored events, and must say that this one was the most fun by far. The complements from the townspeople on how beautiful we made their buildings look really made me stop and think about the incredible impact lighting can make to change the way people perceive their everyday surroundings.  This is something that is easy to forget in our day to day work of spec writing, memos, conference calls & deadlines.  The festival also was challenging in the sense that our designs were all designed & implemented in our heads- While we physically set up the lights in broad daylight, we had to rely solely on our instinct of what the lighting effect would be, rather than actually mocking it up or seeing the effect.  What a wonderful exercise!”
