The Jim H. McClung Lighting Center is proud to present the Festival of Lights USA, a special event fashioned after the Festival of Lights in Lyon, France.

Designed to expand the lighting specifier’s knowledge of light and color in outdoor environments, this civic event will take place in historic Olde Town Conyers, Ga., and the design outcome will be open to the public on March 7 and 8, 2008.

The event features professional lectures, exhibits and the installation of a temporary lighting displays. Attendees will receive either 12 Professional Development hours (PDHs), AIA Learning Units (LUs) or NCQLP Lighting Education Units (LEUs) upon completion of the festival.

Attendees provide their own transportation to Atlanta. Upon arrival, Acuity Brands Lighting will provide all ground transportation, hotel accommodations and meals during the workshop. The program concludes with a drawing for two trips for two to the Festival of Lights in France in December 2008.
